Transfer foam (white on both sides) : transfers exudate to a secondary dressing for extended wear time between dressing changes
Can be worn under compression
Polyurethane foam dressings impregnated with 0.5% PHMB
Foam has micro-structured, open cells surface structure to maximize vertical wicking capabilities
Foam has a dense core for high absorbency and retention; will not promote maceration, even when used under compression
PHMB binds to foam material and kills bacteria on contact
Effective against gram+ and gram- bacteria cluding: MRSA, VRE, Pseudomonas, A. baumannii and against fungi and yeast
Proven effective against repeated contamination for up to seven days
Limit cross-contamination
Have no known resistance
Highly absorbent; protect and cushion moderate to heavily exudating wounds
Non-adherent, non-drying; make dressing changes easy and minimize pain
Soft and comfortable and can be worn for up to 7 days, minimizing the need for dressing changes. Dressings are compliant with most existing wound care protocols
Support a moist and bactericidal environment
