We are proud to announce that the GACEQ (Groupe d’approvisionnement en commun de l’Est-du-Québec) a joint procurement group in Eastern Québec has elected Dufort et Lavigne to be one of its qualified distributors in response to Public Notice 2015-626-01-01 Qualification des distributeurs de fournitures médicales globales et fournitures générales de laboratoire (a request for qualification of service suppliers namely for global medical supplies and general laboratory supplies)
The GACEQ serves all institutions in the following regions:
1. Québec/Chaudière-Appalaches
2. Bas Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie/Iles-de-la-Madeleine
3. Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Nord-du-Québec
4. Mauricie, Centre-du-Québec
5. Estrie
6. Côte-Nord
The specific aims of the project are:
1. Meeting the needs of the regions in terms of the organization of distribution
2. Promoting the development of e-commerce
3. Coordinating and maximizing transport to the regions
4. Fostering a sustainable development approach, such as:
A. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions
B. Optimizing packaging
C. Reducing consumption of non-renewable resources
